SEM 2 WEEK 6 (18.08.17 - 25.08.17)
Yet again, this week was similar to the past few weeks with bug fixes and animations and everything else.
We did have out formative assessment with two of our tutors and we got some really good feednback which we're happy with, and it was also a great time for play testing as some bugs came up that we hadn't seen before and one of the tutors also didn't like how we don't have inverted camera controls, so we took that into consideration and now have that as an option in the settings menu. For the formative we also spent the weekend populating the world with the models that have been made so that it didn't look so empty so now we have rocks and mushrooms and other models within the game.
This week isn't a major update as we're still chugging along with production and next week is mid semester break, which we plan to still keep up with production just at a slower pace. We're planning to have all our production done and the completed ready for QA in week 9. We're hopeful that we can make this deadline, but if we have to push back a week we should hopefully be fine in terms on QA and playtesting as we continue to do that weekly with our second year students and anyone who wants to play the game.
